We are more than just a dance studio! We teach discipline, dedication, confidence, and respect to ourselves as well as to our fellow dancers and teachers.
The Director and Staff of Backstage Performing Arts (BPA) would like to welcome you to the 2023-24 dance season. The dance program will serve beginning through advanced students starting at 3 years old. Our program will work on a small class size allowing no more than 12 students per class. We believe that our success comes as a result of providing solid training and quality service, along with an underlying belief in the strength of our organization. We have created a handbook of policies and guidelines to give our parents and students a clear understanding of our mutual commitments and responsibilities to Backstage Performing Arts. Our studio was started in 1990 for the sole purpose of giving all students a professional dance experience.
Our facility gives dancers a fun and safe learning environment that stimulates students to achieve their personal best. At BPA, we teach the art and enjoyment of dance in a positive, friendly atmosphere. A wonderful form of exercise, dance develops coordination, poise and confidence, which carry over into other areas of school and life. We use age-appropriate music, moves and costuming! Classes are offered for beginner to advanced, recreational to competition.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Ages 3-5
This is a 45 minute class that incorporates ballet, tap, tumbling and personality singing in a fun and creative atmosphere. They experience the magic of dance through the use of songs, games, fairy tales, and fun props. Children’s activities bring movement and coordination together for this youngest dancer.
